Hello!

With the Pikachu event that is rapping up today, I managed to get two shiny Pikachu. However, I already have a shiny Pikachu and Raichu in Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu. What I would want to do is evolve one of my Pikachu into an Shiny Alolan Raichu. Is there a way that is possible in Pokémon Sword? While I don't think that there is, I'll ask just in case.

Thanks in advance :)

Unfortunately, there's no way. You would have to evolve one in Alola to get Alolan Raichu, sorry.

Dang.  Welp, thanks for the answer!
No problem!
Commenting this because it doesn't work with the context of the question, but it does technically answer this.  If this should be an answer, please tell me.  So, now, to get an Alolan Raichu by evolving Pikachu, you need to catch one in SM/USUM and transfer it to Pokémon Shield via Pokémon Home.  Then use the Thunder Stone on it and you have an Alolan Raichu.
Oh, cool :).  I guess you could put that as an answer as well.  I won’t BA it (because it doesn’t fit the context as you said) but it could still be useful for others as well.  Thanks :)
