Does changing the date allow me to catch Rotom in the Lost Hotel, or does it prevent Rotom from showing up?

So I changed my date, but rotom still isn't showing up after like 30 resets. So, uh...... does it change something? Or am I just unlucky and impatient lol

Last time I checked, changing the date in Gen. 6 disabled all time-based events for 24 hours.  Maybe I am wrong though.

In Gen 6, if you later the time/date, all time based events are disabled for 24 hours. Since Rotom can only appear On Tuesday and you altered the date, this is why.
