Do multi-hit moves break multiple layers of a Max Raid shield?

Question

If I used for example, Bullet Seed, against a wild Dynamax Pokemon in a raid den, would it break multiple layers of the shield?

Nope, it only breaks one shield. The animation repeats itself for every hit, though, so it can get a bit tedious to watch.

Interesting point to note -- if a multi-hit attack actually breaks the shield, the second (and further) hit will deal full damage, instead of being reduced like the first.
