It gets Parting Shot, so why not that over U-turn?
Run flamethrower, flare blitz, or overheat over crunch, they are all stronger combined with the STAB.

Litten @ Eviolite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 76 Atk / 116 Def / 116 Spd / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Flare Blitz
- Will-O-Wisp
- Parting Shot

Litten’s main strength is its excellent intimidate ability, and it’s move pool lends itself nicely to a fast intimidate pivot, with fake out, will-o-wisp, and parting shot. It hits 17 speed, which while fast, could be better. With the intimidate ability, litten becomes incredibly bulky physically, and it takes almost nothing from physical attacks from a burnt opponent. Litten’s special bulk, however, is nothing special. Being a fast pivot allows litten to be very selective about its matchups and it can pivot away at any point. Parting shot is an excellent move for a fast pivot, since fast pivots have the major flaw of letting the opponent get a free hit on whatever you switch into, but this damage is reduced by the parting shot drop. Flare blitz isn’t going to be used too often but it is really useful in breaking steel type walls such as ferroseed and pawniard and threatening offensive grass types like grookey.
