Name origin
Calyrex may be a combination of calyx (Latin for bud) and rex (Latin for king), or carex.

Budrex may be a combination of bud and rex (Latin for king).

Thanks!
No problem! :)
Calyx also means a group of sepals of a flower
Yes! It has a crown and horse so it's the king. Perhaps, Galar's third legend?
I’m pretty sure the third legend is Eternatus
lol that was funny idk why

Most sources say Calyrex comes from “calyx” (Latin for “bud”) and “rex” (Latin for “king”), but there may also be some connection to the Rex breed of rabbits. Calyrex looks rabbit-like, and its orb…necklace…thing might be inspired by the dewlap (neck fat) that all Rex rabbits have.

Sounds like "Caledonia" (Latin name for Scotland) and "Rex" (king)
