Title
I'm planning to get the Crown Tundra pass. However, I don't know if you need to have the Isle of Armor pass in order to catch Galarian Moltres.

The two are one and the same. There is one Expansion Pass, and buying it will give you both the Isle of Armor and the Crown Tundra. If you don't want to purchase the pass, you will have to trade for Galarian Moltres.

Yes, you do
Galarian Moltres flies to the Isle of Armor, so if you don't have the Isle of Armor then you can't get it. But if you don't have the Isle of Armor, then you don't have the Crown Tundra. You need the Crown Tundra to get Galarian Moltres, so you need to trade to get Galarian Moltres. I'm sorry you can only get it through trading.

Galarian Moltres has to be found and caught on the Isle of Armor, so you do technically *need* the IoA. Not that it really matters, as you get both from purchasing the pass.
Yea, I know because I caught it.
