PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

The title might've been a bit confusing, so I'll explain. In Doubles, you are able to make a Pokemon "stronger" by attacking it with your other Pokemon, like this: Tapu Koko uses Discharge with a Mega Sceptile as its ally. Discharge will activate Lightning Rod and raise Sceptile's Sp. A. I'm not counting like using moves yourself to raise stats, I mean to raise stats while attacking. This also contains Z or Max/G-max Moves!

you mean like nasty plot or using power-up-punch?
This is tagged doubles and the example is doubles, but the title says "in singles"......
Nasty Plot doesn't count since it doesn't attack at the same time.
It is about doubles too, but if you really want me to change it..
Yes because that's really confusing, now I gotta edit my answer
No, you don't have to.

Singles

  • Ancient Power (May raise all stats excluding accuracy and evasion)
  • Aura Wheel (Raises Speed)
  • Charge Beam (May raise SpA)
  • Diamond Storm (May raise Def)
  • Fell Stinger (Raises Atk drastically after a KO)
  • Fiery Dance (May raise SpA)
  • Flame Charge (Raises Speed)
  • Metal Claw (May raise Atk)
  • Meteor Mash (May raise Atk)
  • Ominous Wind (May raise all stats excluding accuracy and evasion)
  • Power-Up Punch (Raises Atk)
  • Rage (Raises Atk when hit)
  • Rapid Spin (Raises Speed)
  • Silver Wind (May raise all stats excluding accuracy and evasion)
  • Scale Shot (Lowers Def and Raises Speed)
  • Steel Wing (May raise Def)
  • Max Quake (Raises SpD)
  • Max Ooze (Raises SpA)
  • Max Airstream (Raises Speed)
  • Max Steelspike (Raises Def)
  • Max Knuckle (Raises Atk)

Clangorous Soulblaze inflicts damage to all opposing Pokémon and increases the user's Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed stats by one stage each.

Thank you, Kyogre! :)
I'm not BAing yet because other answers might roll in, so that's why.
You forgot Max Moves and Certain Z moves since they are able to be used in certain Singles Formats.
Oh, yeah, those also count too!
Additionally, I would not count Skull Bash since you aren't counting Meteor Beam.  You also forgot a lot of moves.  Aura Wheel, etc.
I also downvoted it because you still missed plenty of abilities like Beast Boost, since it technically counts.
You forgot Stamina and Defiant, Moxie, Soul Heart, etc
I actually didn't forget Meteor Beam, I was editing. But thank you for the Max moves and Aura Wheel (which was, in actuality, the only one I didn't get besides Z moves and Max moves)
Abilities don't count, meteor beam and stuff like that don't count either. MOVES only. I am talking about only in Singles. You don't have to include for Doubles.
Sorry if it came across badly though.  Didn't mean it that way.
whats wrong with meteor beam? its an attacking move and raises a stat technically, and its one combined move, not like stockpile and spit up
Then why was it tagged doubles and everything....
That makes sense, actually. The reason I ruled it out was because it didn't attack and raise stat at the same time, but did in multiple turns, that's why. The only possibility is when you have Power Herb.
No reason why, mistake, sry.
Bulbapedia is failing me today
I still can't see why you don't want abilities.  Could you explain why?
You're not attacking at the same time, duh. Like Power Up Punch raises attack AND attacks, btu abilities don't attck, right?
Example: You have a Gastrodon. The enemy goes for like Hydro Pump. Gastrodon gets a Storm Drain boost and then attacks with Earth Power or something else
Then why did you use Lightning Rod in your example?
The example, tags and title are so conflicting in this question
SSuperiority, I agree with that, but I was mostly meaning abilities like Beast Boost.  Beast Boost does get the boost after attacking, just like moves like Power-Up Punch.
@J™ thank you for helping tho
Thank you Kyogre! :)
No problem.  Sorry if anything came across as rude.  You did forget Scale Shot though.

Moves:

  • Ancient Power (10% chance to raise all stats by 1)
  • Clangorous Soublaze (Z-Move, raises all stats by 1)
  • Fell Stinger (100% chance to raise Attack stat by 3 if it knocks out an opponent)
  • Metal Claw (10% chance to raise Attack by 1)
  • Meteor Mash (20% chance to raise attack by 1)
  • Ominous Wind (10% chance to raise all stats by 1)
  • Power-Up Punch (100% chance to raise Attack by 1)
  • Rage (Every time the user is targeted by Disable, or if hit by an attacking move, attack stat is raised by 1)
  • Silver Wind (10% chance to raise all stats by 1)
  • Diamond Storm (50% chance to raise Defense by 2)
  • Steel Wing (10% chance to raise Defense by 1)
  • Charge Beam (70% chance to raise Special Attack by 1)
  • Fiery Dance (50% chance to raise Special Attack by 1)
  • Aura Wheel (100% chance to raise user's Speed by 1)
  • Flame Charge (100% chance to raise the user's Speed by 1)
  • Rapid Spin (100% chance to raise Speed by 1 in gen 8)
  • Scale Shot (100% chance to raise Speed by 1)

Contrary makes moves that lower user's stats raise them instead. Simple doubles stat changes

Max moves

  • Max Knuckle (raises Attack by 1)
  • Max Steelspike (raises Defense by 1)
  • Max Ooze (raises Special Attack by 1)
  • Max Quake (raises Special Defense by 1)
  • Max Airstream (raises Speed by 1)

If I missed any, let me know. Thanks

What? The only thing kyogres is missing is scale shot, and snom had abilities which you said didn't count. Is it just more precise or what?
I was wondering the same thing.
Ok, sure. If you're mad about it, then this is not BAed. Just don't argue.
I'm not mad I'm confused
He edited it now. Sorry if my question was confusing.
