As of Legends: Z-A, 72 Pokemon can Mega Evolve. Charizard and Mewtwo have two Mega Evolutions each, so the total number of Mega Evolutions is 74.

X and Y: 26
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: 20
Legends: Z-A: 26

Mega Evolutions from the Mega Dimension DLC are not currently included in the total. Right now, we only know about Mega Raichu X and Y.
