I'm replaying Black 2 right now. I got frustration early on in the game, and I want to teach it to my azurill. I don't want to teach it though if it lowers my friendship each time I use it. What should I do?

Frustration requires your Pokemon to have low friendship with you for it to even be useful, so it'd actually be so much better if it did lower friendship every time you used it. If you're able, go with Return or some other move.

Return inflicts damage and has no secondary effect. The base power of Return is dependent on the friendship of the user. The greater the user's friendship, the greater the base power.

They don't change Friendship levels, but the powers of the moves are based on Friendship levels.

Hope I helped!

you forgot something important: return maxes out 102 base power at max friendship while frustration maximises at the same base power at minimum friendship.
