Why am I unbanned? (Vullaby) (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Weak Armor
Level: 5
EVs: 236 SpA / 76 SpD / 196 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

  • Nasty Plot
  • Air Slash
  • Heat Wave
  • Dark Pulse

No doubt, this thing is broken. It has so many different sets and moves for utility, it can be either a Defogger, Defensive pivot or even a set-up sweeper. It's evident from the fact that it got a suspect test recently. However, it wasn't banned.

Nasty Plot boosts its minor 45 Sp.A to higher levels. Air Slash is STAB and the only flying special STAB. Dark Pulse is another STAB which hits at decent BP. Heat Wave is for annoying-steel types and notably Pawniard that resists both of its STAB.

Some calculations:

+2 236 SpA Vullaby Heat Wave vs. 0 HP / 116 SpD Eviolite Pawniard: 22-26 (104.7 - 123.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 236 SpA Vullaby Dark Pulse vs. 196 HP / 180 SpD Eviolite Mareanie: 12-15 (50 - 62.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Since Mareanie doesn't carry Haze, it is pretty much easier to handle. However, Onix is a bit tough to handle, even at +2 because of Sturdy and Head Smash OHKOing Vullaby.

+2 236 SpA Vullaby Dark Pulse vs. 76 HP / 0 SpD Onix: 22-27 (104.7 - 128.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Even if you flinch it, it has evil Berry Juice combined with Sturdy that makes it pure evil. However Stealth Rocks are a go for Onix.

236 Atk Onix Head Smash vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Vullaby: 24-30 (104.3 - 130.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Allocating 76 SpD EVs to Defense gives a 25% chance to survive, however it won't help a lot.

But dont u think this would need roost?
Roost makes you run out of coverage options. You honestly not need healing—you just sweep all and Eviolite at -1 can take Sucker Punch and other priority stuff.

Vullaby (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Overcoat
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Def / 236 SpD / 36 Spe
Impish Nature
- Knock Off
- Defog
- U-turn
- Roost / Brave Bird / Taunt

Vullaby is so versatile, it's wonderful. Knock Off helps against Eviolite abusers like Mareanie and Ferroseed. Defog clears away annoying hazards that can be a detriment to your team. U-turn allows it to pivot to another Pokemon, and let them take care of whatever it is on the opposing team. Roost + Eviolite makes Vullaby insanely bulky. You could go with Brave Bird for more powerful STAB, or Taunt to stop an opponent from setting up on you.
