Why was the gen 1 cycling road changed in Let's Go?

In Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, it is instead known as Pokémon Road as the Bicycle isn't obtainable in these games.

Haven't played lgpe but I would guess that's why
