Can you get Registeel again if you've accidentally released it in Sword?

My little brother released my Registeel in my Sword game! Is there a way I can get it again? Any help would be great.

Trading. I'm pretty sure once you catch it, it never comes back.

If you have HOME, you can make another switch account and catch a registeel there. HOME is communal between accounts, so you could move it to your primary account.
