Which is better for a playthrough of X/Y: Tyrunt or Amaura?

I got to the part in the story where I need to pick between Tyrunt and Amuara, yet I don’t know which one to choose. I know both have their pros and cons, but I’m not talking competitive play. This is for a casual playthrough of the main story.

Tyrantrum is better than Aurorus most of the time. This is because of better bulk, a higher Attack stat, and a more diverse movepool. Aurorus functions, as does everything in-game, but the 4x weaknesses to Fighting and Steel really hinder it. I've personally used both Fossil Pokemon in Kalos Nuzlockes, and Tyrantrum performed much better than Aurorus.
