How do you get more boxes in Amanita's PC in Black/White?

Question

I have 8 boxes in Amanita's PC in Black.
I thought this was normal until I heard my cousin had 16. (I think)
Why is this?
I play Black, he plays White.

Put one pokemon in each box. Exit the pc and enter again. Now u will have 16 boxes.

If you put pokemon in each of the 16 boxes, you get 24 :D
