What is Ting-Lu based on?

Is it a moose? I need to know because moose are my favorite animal.

Ting-Lu may be based on a moose or an elk. The vessel on its head is based on a ding, an ancient Chinese cauldron that serve as a symbol of imperial authority.

Ting-Lu [...] may be a combination of 鼎 dǐng (ancient Chinese cauldron) and 鹿 lù (deer). The English name is formatted in Wade–Giles, a romanization system used in the Anglosphere for most of the 20th century.

Edit:never mind I have stand corrected and I have more research on the ruin quartet

and to answer the question its not based on a moose but it definitely looks like one
But ting-lu is based on taotie one of the 4 perils of chinese mythology
Its depicted to be an animal with a ding(the vessel it has on the head)

Lu:Chinese word for deer and possibly a shorter version for lutetium(rare earth element)

im gonna be honest I dont know why its a ground type but the lutetium is a funny coincidence
