Does Mist block Haze?

Does Mist block the effect of Haze?

What if both Mist and Haze are used by the same Pokemon (e.g. back-to-back)?

In gen 1, haze removes mist from both sides of the field.

In gen 2 and gen 9 (and almost certainly all generations in between), haze completely ignores mist. This is regardless of whether haze and mist are used by the same side or different sides, and whether the stat changes are boosts or drops.
