Is Super Fang's damage reduced if the target resists Normal?

So let's say a raticate attacks a skarmory with super fang, would it still deal half even with the resistance?

Super Fang is not affected by resistances, but is affected by immunities.

Super Fang does damage equal to 50% of the target's current HP. It always deals at least 1 HP of damage.

Thus, Super Fang ignores resistances, as it does a (mostly) fixed amount of damage and is unaffected by modifiers. It should be noted that Super Fang can hit Ghost types in Generation I, but ceases to do so in later generations.
