Is XY or USUM faster to Masuda Method hunt in?

Or is there even a difference? I know breeding was sped up in sword and shield, but which is faster between XY and Gen 7?

It does, I forgot that USUM could send eggs fo PC boxes like SwSh. But it doesn't answer if eggs physically hatch faster in USUM or XY. That link also reminded me of O-powers which I don't think I've ever used before

I'd think that USUM would be faster due to Roto Hatch and Paniola Ranch, since you need to travel to Lumiose for an infinite loop in XY.

USUM is faster. Don't have numbers or anything to back me up, but it never takes more than 20 seconds to hatch an egg in a cycle in USUM, and it can sometimes take over a minute on XY. Not even counting O-Powers or Roto Hatch, I am getting eggs for my current shiny hunt for Chespin way faster in USUM than in XY.
