What's an easy way to catch Thundurus in Pokemon Legends Arceus?

Question

I'm up to the point where I have to catch Thundurus, Landorus, and Tornadus, and Thundurus is proving very hard to catch (due to being on water with Basculegion, and not being able to dodge easier)

Any tips?

What I did was I used Smoke Bombs (a lot of them) and slowly made a path to Thundurus, once you get to Thundurus use an Ultra Ball. Repeat until you have your wheater legend.

You can get Smoke Bombs and Ultra Balls from this shop. Smoke Bombs are 400 Pokedollars and Ultra Balls are 640.

Just so you know Smoke Bombs allow you to hide from the pokemon.
