Best fishing spots?

I know Magikarp is pretty easy to find, but where is the best spot to fish and which is the best rod to use? (in diamond)

I believe there are no specific spots that contain certain Pokemon, l think it's all encounter chance.

(+) Except of course the Feebas fishing spots in Emerald.

the best fishing spot is probaly at feebas's area,and the best rod to use is super rod;if you really want to know where to catch anthing is at pokedex
