I'm trying to complete my pokedex in Pokemon crystal and I realized I didn't have any of the fishing rods, so I go back to try and grab them throughout the game but for some reason all the fisherman that give you rods are saying their text from when you already obtained the rods from them, I have no clue what happened as none of the rods are in my bag or in my item box, and I'm certain that I wasn't stupid enough to accidentally toss them from my item box or bag, any explanations?
