This answer doesn't include grass pledge, fire pledge, leech seed, curse, octolock, and a few other moves. Also why do you say confusion is passive damage when it depends on a Pokemon's attack and defense stats, doesn't happen at the end of a turn, and isn't blocked by magic guard?

i added the ones you mentioned. octolock doesn’t do damage, it just lowers defenses. i consider confusion passive damage because it doesn’t require anything further to deal damage after inflicting confusion, similar to poison and burn.

If you include every move that damages Pokemon after being used, should you count things like future sight, spiky shield, or powder? Or abilities like rough skin or solar power?

i counted only moves that can damage pokemon multiple times on seperate turns after being used or trigged once. i included solar power, but not rough skin, as a solar power pokemon will take damage for multiple turns if it stays out after sun was set once, but rough skin would only damage a pokemon multiple times if it was activated each time.

Then why do you count entry hazards? Those do damage only when a Pokemon switches.

hazards like spikes and stealth rock deal damage multiple times, once every time a pokemon switches in, and you only have to set them once. hazards like toxic spikes inflict poison, which is definitely passive damage.

Rough skin also deals damage multiple times. How does using a contact move count as "activating each time" but switching does not?
