When you defeat a wild Pokemon it spends some time acting dizzy before it disappears.

  • What is this equivalent to for catching purposes? Does it have the same rate as a Pokemon with 1 HP? Is there any boost for being in this state?
  • If the Pokemon acquired a status condition during battle, is the status condition factored into the catch rate? Note that the status symbol disappears once the Pokemon is knocked out and the Pokemon no longer has a status if caught.
  • If the status condition is not factored in, would a fully knocked out Pokemon have a worse catch rate than a Pokemon with very low HP and a status condition?

Well, according to:
https://rotomlabs.net/guide/legends-z-a-capture-mechanics
You get a 1.2x multiplier for catching stunned pokemon (when you defeat them) For alphas, which have a 0.5x catchrate multiplier normally, their catch rate gets a 3x bonus. As for status conditions
Did your comment get cut off? That link and its associated calculator have the information that answer my questions, so if you want to write a response to each of them in an answer I'll accept it
Which pokeball you using?
If you use a regular one, a dizzy Pokemon under Wild Zone 18 will have 3-5 stars, alphas not counted.
Alphas have 0 catch rate with a regular pokeball unless you have INSANITY level luck.
Quick Balls, Ultra Balls, and Timer Balls are recommended for catching.
I am afraid all other info are to be confirmed, because I have not played the game yet.
I believe defeating It is about a 1.2x and 0.5x for alphas and for legendaries I have no clue
No, I'm pretty sure dizzy alphas have a higher catch rate and no, statuses do not carry over, as I learnt when my Mewtwo catch rate for a dream ball plummeted when i knocked it out
