I just got the gengar mimikyu turbo controller and was wondering what are the best ways to hunt for any Pokemon using the controller to automate stuff

I no like the bench and wild zone three but I’m pretty sure there others I want to hunt a shiny gastly and honedge but I really just want to know any way in any wild zone

Thanks but is there any others just want to know
Not that I'm aware of, but all shiny hunting methods have the same base mechanism: spawning and despawning a Pokémon. All the different methods are just different ways to do that repeatedly. So you could come up with a new method where you respawn them by, say, blacking out next to the Pokémon (which rerolls it) over and over, but it just wouldn't be very efficient. You can also soft reset like in other Pokémon games but it's usually slower. That's why people usually don't mention other strategies, since fast travel, benches, and running back and forth are the best options in 99% of situations. The one exception I can think of is Latios, where soft resetting is maybe a little easier.

In wild zone 20 Pokémon despawn on the other side of the wild zone as you run. If you can set it up to be afk its a very good method.

Video by Aishiros showing how to do it . https://youtu.be/EvFSPUr6GFY?si=9gtp5MyAvnOVbrEm

Hope this helps

There are a few that I know of:

First, fast traveling to one specific spot like someone else said. Very effective for some areas, and for others not so much.

The bench method is good. I did that so much in the ice area (zone 12 I think) and got way to many shinies.

Having one run back n forth. Like, into the wild zone, forward say, five steps, turn, walk back out the wild zone. Also could work for fast traveling. Like, fast travel, go into the wild zone, walk a few steps fast travel again.

For specifically Gastly, I don't know. I'm assuming going to wild zone 4 (I think that's the graveyard one) and fast traveling would work.

Sorry if this isn't super accurate.

You can fast travel over and over to one spot, I don't know if that incorporates the turbo method (I don't own one) but it is definitely an effective method. I did it on Wild Zone 2 and got shiny Staryu and Magikarp, though not immediately. Good luck, and, for the record, I no like the bench method either. It feels too slow.
