In this replay, how did the miraidon not flinch?

skip to the bit where my incineroar uses fake out on the miraidon. it didn't flinch.
Why?
(I'm bobsterfer beetle by the way)

Yup, like Amethyst said. Covert Cloak. I'm interested, though, why not a better item? Miraidon's got some good items

The Covert Cloak prevents additional effects of moves, including the flinch from Fake Out.
