Is FRLG worth it for shiny hunters?

I’m interested in getting FRLG but I was wondering if there were any hunts worth getting it for. Like if a Pokemon couldn’t be hunted in any other game

Depends on the person. I imagine most shiny hunter buyers are buying for the experience of the game and for shiny hunting, but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if there were people who bought the game specifically to hunt something like Deoxys.

If Deoxys was easy to get in other games I probably wouldn’t get it simply because I can play it on my 3ds however I can’t really transfer it up so if Deoxys was worth it in FRLG I would play the game and then shiny hunt Deoxys

I'd say 60% of the reason I bought FRLG was for shiny Deoxys, but I also want to play a Gen 3 game cause I've never played one before. It's been fun so far.

If Deoxys is the only Pokemon that can be shiny in FRLG but is shiny locked in both gen 8 and gen 9, should I just answer the question with that?

Deoxys is the only Pokemon that isn't shiny locked in FRLG and is shiny locked in both gen 8 and gen 9.

FRLG has no intentional methods to raise the shiny chance and its RNG is relatively difficult to abuse, so I think Deoxys is the only Pokemon that's easier to shiny hunt in FRLG than the other Switch games.
