PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

Ok so following on from my previous post I have found an even more revolutionary glitch with this guy. This is essentially a “how to get infinite glitch Pokémon” tutorial lol. (Contains many photos as it’s kinda hard to describe glitches like this)

This is 2 separate frames of when my glitchy guy first fainted. What follows next is glitchy breakthrough called the “Magnat Glitch” (yes magnat with an A because that is the name of the Pokémon I used for this)

After the battle the overworld-poison effect plays and displays that things keep fainting. Checking the party for the poisoned Pokemon crashes the game.

The start menu during this strange event is also corrupted, telling me to saveity, whatever that means

So I heal up magnat and something strange happens

Something very strange. For every doo in a Pokémon centre, a pokeball is placed. The doos however continue even after all 6 pokeballs and then a doo sounds for every little bit of glitchyness. Eventually this corrupted the entire screen before becoming normal and upon checking the PC, an ARMY OF GLITCH POKÉMON was waiting there. Simply sitting in my PC. And it never ended. This is an extremely volatile and dangerous and unstable glitch but hey! Infinite glitch Pokémon isnt that bad!

Extra notes:
- poison effect may be more likely when spamming TM28 (the glitch move, not the TM for dig) against wild Pokémon until faint
- Have only ever done it successfully in pewter city however have not tested much anywhere else
- Likely to not get poison at all and if you do it may crash as soon as you enter Pokémon centre. If not then it’s very likely you succeed . It appears to be a frame perfect memory leak

For the person answering this (most likely myself) I would want to know whether the Pokémon generate within the poison bit, or the Pokémon centre bit, also, what error in the code causes this. Thank you!
