Why am I not getting shiny Honedge?

I’ve been shiny hunting honedge in Z-A recently by fast traveling to wild zone 4 at night. So far I’ve got 7 shiny gastly, 6 spinirak, 3 patrat, 2 ekans, (The macro ran a bit during the day) a spewpa and 3 weedle from a tree just outside the wild zone. I’ve managed to get all these but Zero honege and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Also I do have shiny charm

There are two reasons I can think of.

1. You don’t have any luck, this is probably the issue.
2. Your switch is hacked and you have a mod installed that specifically makes it so shiny Honedge don’t spawn. (Probably not but hey, could be.)

Well time to go turn the macro back on I guess.

Commenting to add that only 10 shiny Pokemon can spawn at once, so it’s possible that running it overnight that you DID find a shiny honedge, but it got overwritten.
Instead of running the macro overnight, try leaving it on for an hour instead, and check back to see what you got. I found doing an hour or so would get around 5 spawns.
Other people have also had trouble finding shiny honedge. This person found it immediately after changing locations.

Didn’t know about the Lysander labs spot. I’ll try that one out and let you know if I get a shiny
