how can you see in the cerulean cave

i saw cheats but when i got in the cave everything was dark! how can I make it bright? someone plz help me

You use the TM flash there are many common Pokemon that can learn this move. It is used just like an HM you go into the cave you go into your party and Press A/L on the Pokemon and then press on Flash and the cave lights up. I hope I helped :)
