Groudon @ Red Orb
Ability: Drought
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant Nature
- Hone Claws
- Precipice Blades
- Fire Punch
- Stealth Rock / Dragon Claw

Hone Claws - Powers up Precipice Blades and Stone Edge, and makes them 100% accuracy
Precipice Blades - High power STAB
Fire Punch - Decent power STAB
Stealth Rock / Dragon Claw - Extra coverage or set up rocks

Groudon
Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Precipice Blades
- Heat Crash
- Stone Edge
- Power-Up Punch / Stealth Rock / Dragon Tail / Thunder Punch / Rock Polish

Precipice Blades is ground STAB. Heat Crash is very powerful, considering Primal Groudon is the 3rd heaviest Pokemon in existence (i think) and because its boosted by intense sun and STAB. Stone Edge for Edge-quake. PUP to raise its already astronomical attack stat, stealth rock for chip, Dragon tail to phaze (you can use Roar instead for Xerneas), Thunder Punch to cover waters. Rock Polish in conjunction with a 504 attack stat lets it snowball easily (thanks for the suggestion SleepyDreepy)

ew groudon
Yiu could use rock polish and 252 speed evs and sweep their team. Works VERY well.
ew primal groudon
PrimalKyogre and ~chocolatte~ you guys should post that on the comments of the thread itself and not on my answer lol
what’s a pk
Thunder Punch isnt needed due to desolate land negating water type moves

Special Groudon

Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Eruption
- Earth Power
- Rock Polish
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Erruption is STAB and deals 150 damage at full health, so the oppoment would most likely get KOed if switching in. Earth Power counters Zacian and other Groudons switching in. Rock Polish doubles groudon's speed making it have 612 speed, which makes it a potent sweeper. Hidden Power [Ice] to counter Rayquaza.
I've hoped I've helped!

Special Sweeper Groudon

Groudon @ Wise Glasses / Heat Rock / Focus Sash
Ability: Drought
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Rock Polish
- Earth Power
- Solar Beam
- Flamethrower / Fire Blast

Rock Polish: Setup Speed to start sweeping
Earth Power: STAB
Solar Beam: Coverage + 1 turn hit due to Drought
Flamethrower / Fire Blast: Coverage (High accuracy / High power) - Further boosted due to Drought

Yes! This is a Groudon without EQ. Groudon has strong special moves which can utilize its ability effectively. While rest is self-explanatory, we got 3 different choices for the items. Wise Glasses to get 10% more boost to special attacks. Heat Rock to extend the duration of Sun. Focus Sash if you are worried too much about the low Special Defense stat of Groudon which makes it prone to OHKO from super-effective attacks like Blizzard and Solar Beam from faster opponents during the turn you are setting up with Rock Polish.

Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Tail
- Fire Punch / Heat Crash
- Precipice Blades
- Stealth Rock

Dragon tail and stealth rocks are nice. The other moves are STAB.

NDAG Defensive Roar Groudon
Groudon
Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 252 HP / 36 Atk / 220 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Precipice Blades
- Stone Edge
- Roar

I made this moveset specifically with Smeargle, Xerneas, and Substitute in mind. The Defensive and HP EVs are so you can tank a hit (watch out for Arceus-Ground, Special Primal Groudon, and other special attackers) and set up Stealth Rock. Precipice Blades is necessary STAB that can hit things like Zacian-Crowned and Necrozma-Dusk Mane. Stone Edge hit things like Flying Types that might try to switch in and Defog your rocks or something. Roar gets rid of set-up sweepers, Baton Pass, and other things like that.

Why not Specially Defensive than Physically Defensive? You'll be able to check Kyogre-Primal, Arceus-Water and Xerneas better with a SpD set.
Does primal groudon exist in swsh? Cuz u mentioned Zacian
It doesn't exist in SwSh, but it's usable in Pokemon Showdown.

Here's mine:

Groudon @ Red Orb
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Precipice Blades
- Flamethrower
- Solar Beam
- Stone Edge

Precipice Blades: coverage + STAB
Flamethrower: Extra coverage + STAB
Solar Beam: Hits in 1 turn due to its Ability and is further coverage
Stone Edge: For Flying types

Please tell me if this is good and if this Pokémon needs any improvements :)
Thank You!

Fire punch does more damage in this set.
Adamant depletes the power of Flamethrower and Solar Beam.
If this is NDAG, I suggest Heat Crash.
Give 252 Spe (or HP) instead of 252 SpA.
I think HP is better since Godzilla can’t really out speed anything.

Also what makes Precipice Blades better than Earthquake
Don't use 252 Atk / 252 SpA. Use 252 SpA / 252 Spe instead, as its Phy Atk is naturally high. And, Mild is better than Adamant. Flamethrower is a subpar choice, consider Fire Blast as it picks more KOes or something like Eruption.
@FlyinSquirl PDon doesn't need physical Fire-STAB. Special Fire STAB breaks Groundceus, which is one of its check so that's better.
@~TastyMushroom~ ):< Heat Crash is bad because it can't hit Dynamaxed Pokemon. Anyways, Fire Blast / Eruption >>> Heat Crash / Fire Punch whatever it gets

Groudon
Calyrux (Groudon-Primal) @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpA
Hardy Nature
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch

Earthquake - STAB ( and much better than PB)
Fire Punch - STAB
Solar Beam - Coverage for Groudon’s only weakness
Stealth Rock - for hazard

Primal Groudon set

Groudon @ Red Orb (or elese why is it a Primal Groudon set)
EVs: 252 Atk / 6 SpA / 252 Spe
Ability: Drought
Lonely Nature
- Solar Beam / Precipice Blades
- Earthquake
- Flamethrower
- Hammer Arm / Precipice Blades

Solar Beam / Precipice Blades: Solar Beam for coverage; Precipice Blades is STAB and signature move
Earthquake: STAB
Flamethrower: STAB because Primal Reversion
Hammer Arm / Precipice Blades: Hammer Arm for more coverage; Precipice Blades is STAB and signature move

Also tested this set and pretty good

National Dex AG Primal Groudon

Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Precipice Blades / Earthquake
- Rock Polish / Stealth Rock
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge

- Precipice Blades STAB and strongest ground type move for Groudon (just be aware of the 85% accuracy) this is the move you gonna be using a lot and is strong enough to handle water types as well, not that they are threats or anything because Desolate Land and if they try to defy they will get evaporated along with their moves.
- Swords Dance to sweep and all you need is one because Groudon is just so powerful and with just one swords dance its attack is already over 1,000 and then nothing is safe.
- Stone Edge Coverage for flying types who are immune to your ground type moves like Lugia and Ho-oh.
- Earthquake if you don't like the accuracy of precipice blades and it completes the EdgeQuake combo.
- Rock Polish to gain speed.
- Stealth Rock to soften up the opposing members so they are easier to kill.

Groudon pairs really well with Xerneas because it can threaten out steels and let Xerneas set up geomancy and other good teammates include Incineroar, Necrozma-DM because it's a secondary Xerneas check to relieve some pressure off of Groudon, Palkia can be used for situations when Primal Kyogre switches in to Primal Groudon to check it and Palkia is 1/4th resistant to water and doesn't care about Kyogre's coverage.

Fire Punch only hits Celesteela and Skarmory which are far more rare, so something like Stealth Rock / Rock Polish is a better option.
thanks for the suggestion but without a fire type move couldn't it be walled by grass and bug types like Scizor or ferrothron?
+2 252+ Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 327-385 (92.8 - 109.3%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

+2 252+ Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 248 HP / 16+ Def Scizor-Mega: 369-435 (107.5 - 126.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Apart from Ferrothorn, there really isn't any prominent Grass-type to hit with Fire Punch. Scizor doesn't have much usage either way, and it doesn't deal any damage to you, meaning you can just set-up Stealth Rock on it.
ok thanks
