Can Combee collect honey in HG/SS?

Question

If so, what is it's use in HG/SS? Also, besides breeding and trading, where can you get Combee in HG/SS? My DS is in the charger so I can't check.

Combee collects honey because of its ability, Honey Gather, so it continues to do that in HeartGold/SoulSilver.

Like DarkTyphlosion said you can get it from the bug catching contest.

I'm not sure if it still collects honey, but it can be found in the bug catching contest after you get the national dex, there are other locations too. It has the same description from Dp as well.

Yeah, but I lost both my Pearl and Platinum. I also haven't been able to find my Diamond version (although that's nothing new, I've been missing it for a while now. About since it first came out. I bought Pearl version to replace it.)
