Does the Masuda method still work if one evolves?

I had a name in Korean Zorua.
But it evolved, and the name became English.
Is the method still take place?

Yes, that is considering the pokemon is from korea, it doesnt have anything to do with the name.
But i do assume because of the name it is koreon there for still able to use.
