If you have a good competitive moveset for Shedinja, post an answer below and upvote the best ones. Movesets for its pre-evolutions, if any, can also be shared on this thread.

Be sure to include full set details in your post, e.g. items, abilities, natures and EVs. Some detail, including the intended game mode for your set, is also appreciated. Access the full list of guidelines here.

Shedinja Pokédex and learnset for reference.

Shedinja @ Focus Sash / Heavy-Duty-Boots
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

  • Swords Dance
  • Poltergeist
  • Shadow Sneak
  • X-Scissor

With the addition of Poltergeist and Heavy Duty Boots, this bug shell can finally do things. If it's a lead Pokemon, then Sash is better, as Stealth Rocks or Spikes won't do anything as it doesn't switch in. If it's not, then Heavy Duty Boots is better, as it just dies to Spikes or Stealth rock. As for the moveset, Swords dance can setup against a Pokemon with no super effective moves. Poltergeist has 110 power and is stab so big damage. Shadow Sneak is to revenge kill or land the finishing blow, or can be used when you know it's gonna be KOed. X-Scissor is Bug STAB.

Shedinja
Shedinja @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

  • Poltergeist
  • Shadow Sneak/Agility
  • X-Scissor/Protect
  • Endure

Use Agility if the opponent switches. Endure to activate Weakness Policy. Poltergeist is powerful STAB. Shadow Sneak can be used over Agility because of its priority. X-Scissor is STAB. Protect to scout
Shedinja
Shedinja @ Focus Sash
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spe
Jolly/Adamant Nature

  • Poltergeist
  • X-Scissor/Dig
  • Agility
  • Swords Dance

Double dancer that takes advantage of the many switches it forces. Poltergeist and X-Scissor are STAB while Dig is coverage. I'd recommend X-Scissor though

Frail Wall (Shedinja) @ Safety goggles
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly (+Spe -Spa)
Moves:
Dig (Helps it survive, takes care of fire/rock weaknesses)
Phantom Force (ghost coverage, survive, stab)
X-Scissor (dark coverage, stab)
Protect (survive, troll)
Unfortunately it has no flying coverage but it prob won't need it cuz you'll have other pokes

Here is a set I use commonly.

Shedinja @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 69 SpD / 187 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Hone Claws/Swords Dance
- Fury Cutter
- Shadow Sneak
- Toxic/Protect/Will-o-wisp

Heavy duty boots because stealth rocks and other hazards are everywhere, it's a great item for shedinja which would normally instantly die to them.
Hone claws instead of swords dance so that fury cutter does not miss, you can use swords dance if you want though.
Shadow sneak is a much needed priority and secondary STAB move.
The last slot is toxic to poison switch ins for shedinja, so that they eventually cannot switch in due to dying from toxic. You can use protect if you are never sure the opponent does not have a move to hit you since this set does not hold a focus sash. Will-o-wisp is another alternative similar to toxic, but for crippling physical attackers.

With lonely nature and 69 evs in special defence both the defence and special defence of shedinja will be 113. You can put them in speed if you want but it doesn't really make much different with what shedinja is faster than so I put 69 in special defence for fun.

Have fun.

Shedinja has only 1 hp so the defense won't matter. Fury Cutter is too weak and should be replaced.
I know the defence does not matter that was just a joke. I put fury cutter because it works for me but if you don't like it use a different move.
I would replace Fury Cutter with X-Scissor, and put the SpD EVs in Spe.

This thing is literally a Ninjask shell. This thing is in NatDex AG because of Tera now lmao

Shedinja @ Air Balloon
Ability: Wonder Guard
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fury Cutter
- Hone Claws
- Poltergeist / Shadow Claw / Shadow Sneak
- Toxic / Shadow Sneak

Hone Claws is to help Fury Cutter, boosting Attack and Accuracy. Shadow Sneak is STAB priority, Shadow Claw gives more power and a high critical chance. Toxic is for stalling, and Fury Cutter is great since you're almost impossible to hit with Tera Electric.

The only thing i can picture killing this is thousand arrows (Zygarde signature move)
