Gen 9 NU Choice Specs

Magnezone @ Choice Specs
Ability: Analytic
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid / Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
- Tera Blast

A Choice Specs set Magnezone can use in Gen 9 NU. Usually, Choice Specs Magnezone uses Magnet Pull to trap and eliminate Steel-types. However, this set is for NU. There are no Steel birds, metal bugs, iron spiky fruit things (Ferrothorn), moles with steel claws (Excadrill), etc etc. In NU, outside of opposing Magnezone, the Steel-types in NU are a pair of keys (Klefki), metal elephants (Copperajah) and dogs (Lucario), and umm, Regi thingy Registeel. This set uses Analytic to hit faster Pokemon harder and punish opposing Pokemon for switching in.

Thunderbolt is used for a consistent powerful STAB move, with resists even wanting to be careful since if they switch into Thunderbolt, you'll get hit with an Analytic boosted Thunderbolt. Flash Cannon is used for a Steel STAB that is useful to snipe Pokemon such as Krookodile, Rhyperior, Diancie, and Grass-types such as Tsareena, Vileplume, Venusuar, Brambleghast, and Brute Bonnet. Volt Switch is used to allow Magnezone to generate and keep up momentum, making it harder the opponent to pin down Magnezone since most Pokemon don't want to switch into Magnezone. Using the button that says Terastilze and Grass, Magnezone can turn into a Grass-type and eliminate Swampert, Quagsire, and Gastrodon with a fake Seed Flare. Timid Nature gives Magnezone some more speed, while Modest can be used instead for more power to make Magnezone's attacks more dangerous to switch into.

Gen 9 NU Assault Vest

Magnezone @ Assault Vest
Ability: Analytic
Tera Type: Grass / Ground / Dragon / Flying
EVs: 128 HP / 252 SpA / 128 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt / Discharge
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
- Tera Blast / Mirror Coat

Assault Vest Magnezone is used in Gen 9 NU as a check to special attackers while still hitting hard. Thunderbolt is used for a consitent Electric STAB. Discharge can be used instead for an Electric STAB that has a 30% to spread paralysis against opposing Pokemon. Flash Cannon is used for a Steel STAB that hits Pokemon that resist or are immune to Magnezone's Electric STABs such as Krookodile, Rhyperior, Brambleghast, Tsareena, and Brute Bonnet. Volt Switch is used for an Electric STAB that lets Magnezone switch out to generate and keep up momentum for its team. The last slot depends on which Tera Type you use. If you use Grass or Ground for the Tera Type, use Tera Blast. Tera Blast Grass lets Magnezone hit Swampert, Quagsire, and Gastrodon super effectively. Tera Blast Ground lets Magnezone delete opposing Magnezone and deal super effective damage against Dragalge and Alolan Muk. If you use Dragon or Flying for the Tera, use Mirror Coat. Mirror Coat is used for a surprise option against powerful Special wallbreakers. Analytic is used for the Ability to let Magnezone's attacks have more power against faster Pokemon and Pokemon switching into Magnezone's attacks. Tera Dragon lets Magnezone a nice defensive typing that resists Water, Fire, Electric, and Grass moves. Tera Flying can be used to make Magnezone's 4x Ground weakness an immunity.

252 Special Attack EVs are used with a Modest Nature to allow Magnezone to hit as hard as possible. 128 Speed EVs is used to let Magnezone outspeed Klefki and Pokemon who may run enough speed to outspeed Klefki. The rest of the EVs are used in HP for some bulk.

Gen 9 NU IronPress

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 200 SpD / 56 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon

An IronPress set Magnezone can use in Gen 9 NU. Unlike the other sets I posted for Magnezone for NU, this set uses Magnet Pull to trap Steel-types such as opposing Magnezone (If it's locked into a move that isn't Volt Switch), Klefki, Registeel, and Copperajah so it can use them as setup fodder. Iron Defense boosts up Magnezone's defense stat, making Body Press more powerful while letting Magnezone tank physical hits. Body Press is used as a nice move to deal with things Magnezone's STABs wouldn't really be able to deal with. Thunderbolt is used for an Electric STAB that is used to zap Water- and Flying-types such as Slowbro, Talonflame, Basculegion, and Cloyster. Using the power of its own magnetism, Magnezone summons a Flash Cannon to melt Rock-types such as Diancie and Rhyperior, as well as chipping Pokemon such as Vileplume and Venusuar. Leftovers is used for some HP recovery. Tera Fairy is used to make Magnezone's Fighting weakness a resist.

252 HP EVs are used for bulk. 56 Speed EVs allow Magnezone to outspeed Pokemon such as Umbreon, Vaporeon, and Scrafty. The rest of the EVs are used in Special Defense with a Calm Nature to give Magnezone some bulk to tank special hits since this set has Iron Defense to boost Magnezone's defense.
