Whenever pokemon 'ran through the -----', can you ever find it somewhere else WITHOUT defeating the E-4?

Ex: You might accidentally make a legend faint or run from it and on the screen it says
'So-so ran through the forest, cave, ect., can you find it without beating the Elite-4 again?

This is in Black.

You MUST beat the Elite Four to make the Legendary reappear. No exceptions.

But can you get Verizion after the Elite four if you fainted it?

I kept Fainting it and restarting but then i forgot to restart but i put save after i made it run away
