Help on pokemon showdown!

This is message I recieve;

Initializing... DONE
Loading libraries... DONE
Loading client... DONE
Connecting to login server... DONE
Connecting to Showdown server...

It seems that I can't connect to the shodown server itself. Help!

i tried it and it seems for what i believe it is just loading the data that's all and it works fine

I left it like that for hours and nothing happened

i tried it yesterday it works fine or another possibility that your computer froze up on that part it is something to consider
