An idea that probably won't work, but I have to check?

I was playing on Showdown, and I saw that you flinch when you get hit before Focus Punch. What if you used a Pokemon with Inner Focus: Example: Hitmonchan with Focus Punch. Would it always hit, cause you can't flinch?

It won't work.

Although he cannot flinch, the move such as Astonish that failed to make him flinch still hit Hitmonchan, right? So Focus Punch will not work, unfortunatly.
