Trainer Card Nature Question?

Question

So is the trainer nature a set thing or randomly determined? for the last 2 or 3 games, its always been Hardy for me. is this determined by anything, and does it influence anything in-game?

By default, it is Hardy, but you can change it.

Just tap on the Nature with your Stylus.
