This has he happened to me before to, but I credit the problem to the computer, because in all honesty, both of our computer suck. Like my computer won't let me vote on answers, so I can only vote on questions.

From the sound of it, it could maybe be your internet connection is a bit dodgy. Try reloading the page and trying again.
