I think maybe that the rules are getting too laid back....

Question

I've seen questions such as:

• What game should I buy?
• What is the best Pokemon in B/W?
• What's a good grass type for my SoulSilver team?
  I remember at my early days on this site, I tried asking one of these questions. Hidden quicker than a flash. But why isn't it happening now? I'm not saying you people are doing a bad job, I just think maybe we need to get a tighter grip on the rails of the PokeBase.
  Please don't take this the wrong way!

Can you give a link please? When were they asked? If they were asked recently they need to be hidden. On the other hand if they were asked a year or two ago then that is because the rules were very different back then.
