Disable answering your own questions on PokeBase

Question

1. Point Whores can BA themselves.
2. New people might answer when they mean to comment.
3. Why not? Unless it is impossible or something..
4. Don't do this on BattleSubway because a lot of questions exceed the character limit, or Meta because it might be a tournament or something of the like.

Somebody gave a 1 sentence answer and gave themselves BA when there were 3 other answers. So annoying >.<

You don't get BA points when you answer your own questions. But 2. is logical. And everything is possible in coding my evolved clawed friend... EVERYTHING. :O

Okay, that was weird. When I upvoted your answer, the upvote thingy didn't go up. It just stayed there. So I removed my upvote then it said 0, and so I never really upvoted in the end. How sad. o.o

Moveset questions, the central ingame team questions, and similar questions.

Pokemaster has also stated that it is fine for users to answer their own questions if at a later point in time they find the answer to their question. So Mew could be doing extensive research into Pokemon Ranger right now and it would be fine if he answered his own question.

When new people answer when they mean to comment, it will usually go to moderator approval, since users who do not know to comment will not often have the points required to skip the approval process. So we just accept and then convert answer into a comment. This feature could save us some time in that regard. It can also save us some time in having to un-BA point whoring. But these come down to seconds, and I would much rather be able to answer my moveset questions than save myself a tiny bit of time.

Notice to all users: And now with walls, make sure to point out instances of self-BAing. It is a great way to alert me of any problem.
