I have recently had to approve edits that people have made to their posts, and since the asker of that question edited the question, I think that may be what happened.

I think I also recall approving a post that someone re-showed, so that may be the case.

If a post is edited then it may require re-approval. We'll see how it goes for now, if it gets too much then I will turn that off.

However it also seems to be happening on Meta/RMT too, which it shouldn't because no approval is required for there.
