Probably not, I'm not sure I like the idea of "secret discussions". I mean, is there really anything you need to send that can't be public? (Note: anything in the chat is only visible to members, and it doesn't stay around for very long either.)
Also, there is already a special page for requests, please post there in future: http://pokemondb.net/pokebase/3182/what-features-do-you-want-on-pokemon-database I get an email when a request is added so I will see it.
