Can we have a number in the URL for users?

Question

For instance, there's this web address.

http://pokemondb.net/pokebase/165490/what-is-a-good-moveset-for-greninja

The 165490, I'm assuming, is so that if the name of the question is changed, you can enter in the URL and still see the same question.

So I was thinking... what about usernames? People change their usernames, and so if I were to post a link somewhere to my profile and then change my username, people wouldn't be able to see it unless there was a number ID of some sort.

I asked this sort of suggestion a while ago.
Pokemaster says this may be implemented in the future. :]
