Occasionally my updates has random updates on it.

It says that I've been doing things I haven't and stuff like that. Is it just me?

It may be na error. But when you comment on a question, and if anyone comments after you, it will say something like '' your comment followed by ... '' or maybe your comment/answer as hidden/reshowed.

Also this isn't happening to me.

It's most likely because you have favourited another user. This means that your update page will be updated with what they do as well.

To favourite / check if a user is favourited go to their profile and if the star is coloured like this:

Then they're favourited and if it's not coloured like this:
http://prntscr.com/4tx11e
Then they're not favourited.

Unfortunately there's no way of telling who is favourited apart from checking their profile, so you will have to do that.
