Meta-PokéBase Q&A

So what I mean is that a new thread that users can keep others updated on the latest gen's current meta. For example: rotom-wash loses popularity due to recent introduction of grassy glide rillaboom.
What I recommend is a thread for OU, UU(maybe Uber, RU, NU too) meta each.
That way, users can see the latest meta by seeing the BA. When the meta changes, the latest answer that is correct will be reselected and the previous answer can be hidden or whatever the mods or pokemaster plan to do with it.
I feel that this thread can benefit many people.
However, I only do Pokemon showdown,
which is a common platform for many, so also consider creating threads that contain other games or platforms info (if there is a difference)

There is basically no point in us having this. Smogon already runs popular threads on the topic, and their userbase is much better at the competitive game than ours.
I could easily see this sort of thing crossing into a long debate in the comments over each Pokemon's viability, which starts to bend the intents of this platform (and is also done better by Smogon).
You should read https://www.smogon.com/stats/ if you want to see what the "current meta" is like.

I wouldn't be totally against that since it's somewhat factual content, but aren't the changes covered somewhere else? e.g. on Smogon

Also there are problems keeping it up to date. If you hide previous answers then you lose all that information, if you keep them around it clogs up the question. Maybe we could have one question per year or something.
