This will be useful for users that are on often and then seem to disappear for a while.

i mean that's cool and all, but there's no need.

Mods already have this feature, so I'm sure PM didn't implement this to the public for a reason. It would make it easy to cyberstalk and harass other users, or at least create that image. "TY was online 5 minutes ago, why didn't they respond? they must hate me" Etc. Since this is an extremely small community, it can make things really.. harsh.
disclaimer i would like it, but i highly doubt this will exist for regular users, with the reasons stated above^
The "recent activity" button already exists. Why don't you just use that?
It sounds good
@sumwun the recent activity button lets you see all questions that have been answered or commented on recently, not when the last time someone was on was.
does checking when someone was active count as cyberstalking? If so then the Nintendo Switch friend system is a cyberstalking unit
It really depends. If it becomes an addition and habit, then yes. Especially if it influences you and the other person negatively
I mean I guess that is a possibility but I don't think much would come out of it. Maybe i'm wrong
Personally, id rather if it didn't show the public when I'm active here. It would feel like a huge invasion of privacy. It would be cool is we can chose to show as online or not, but like, sometimes I simply don't want to talk to anyone, and people take offense to that
I think this would be a nice middle ground: https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/meta/38755/have-the-active-and-inactive-status-on-your-profile

So instead of showing when youre online or not, it just ranks how active of a user youve been within a certain time period
@Ty that is fair. I think it could be something that you could decide whether or not to show on your profile. That suggestion however, is from 2013, and if it hasn't happened since it's not going to happen now
Pm is very... inconsistent with giving us stuff we ask for. I highly doubt he'll do this either, and it takes him forever to get around to stuff, so don't hold your breath. It could happen, esp since you just brought up something similar, he could decide yeah maybe i will do something like that, even if its not exactly the same. Will take him a while, though
Bumping.

Also, I feel like there should be an option to toggle on and off your last online status, similar to how it is on Instagram. This would also prevent the invasion of a user's privacy, which is TY's major concern.
Yeah, I’d be cool with a toggle similar to the wall option.
