Should there be a limit to how short/long a wall post is?

Like there is for comments, I don’t think that users can just post “a” and that’s considered a wall post, there should be a limit to how short a wall post is.

Also for how long a wall post is, because it will take too long to read, and that just ruins the whole limited amount of wall posts per hour thing.

There are limits on long wall posts. Sometimes I tried to post really long ones and it said something about a query failing or something. Basically, I couldn't post.

Short limit: Who cares? Why does it matter? I spam dumb, garbage, one-letter posts on peoples' walls sometimes. If you don't like them, delete them from your wall.

Long limit: Like Gladion said, there is one, which I've experienced multiple times.

Like they both said, there's already a limit to how long Wposts are. The short Wpost limit would be annoying if you want to say something like "ok" or "no"

Upvoting this since i believe 3 downvotes for this is extreme.
I'm pretty sure it's more of a trouble if someone could spam 'a' in a comment on a question then just spam 'a' on a wall of a friend. There's a limit on how many wallposts you can make per hour, so i think that making another restriction on wallposts just in case is a bit unnecessary.

While I'm not staff or Pokemaster himself, I think I can safely answer this.

Like others said, there already is a limit for how long they can be. For the short limit, that's kind of.... irrelevant. Here's my reasoning why:

• You can easily delete posts.
• There's only 5 posts per hour per section, meaning there'll be no more than 15 spams per hour.
• You can disable wallposts
• You can report to staff is someone is spamming you and won't stop, and Px or Fizz can talk to them.
• It seems like no one even wants that

... and considering PM hasn't implemented it by now I highly doubt he would.

Overall, it kind of seems like a waste when there's other alternatives and better solutions. Staff, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong with my answer or any of the above ^
