I mean, I've recently been surfing through Pokebase, and in a number of places, I saw this:

Yes (Filler)
Yes (6 characters)

What do the words in brackets mean? Is it some kind of inside joke or site slang?

Comments require a minimum of six characters, so people write (filler) to meet those requirements when writing a short message.

It’s because of the character limit

All messages must be at least 6 characters long. “Yes” clearly isn’t 6 characters long, so people put (filler) or (6 characters) to fill the space needed to send the message because it’s not long enough.
