Should you tag a question with something you used as an example?

I'm going to try to make this make sense, so here's an example question. Would it have been ok if I tagged this question "Arcanine"?

If arcanine is just for an example, don’t use that tag. If your question was about arcanine, then tag it arcanine.

For this case, I wouldn’t use the arcanine tag, because it’s not about arcanine.
